These Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") govern your access to and use of the SLT Innovations S.L. application (the "App") and any related services provided by SLT Innovations S.L., with registered address at Avenida General Perón 38 - Planta 4 - 28020 Madrid, Spain (hereinafter referred to as "SLT," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you ("you" or "user") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. Our operations fully comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ensuring user rights such as access, rectification, deletion, and objection. Please refer to our detailed Privacy Policy for comprehensive information on how your data is processed and protected.
2. Account Registration
To access certain features of the App, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration3 process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.4 You agree to notify SLT immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Subscription and Fees
SLT offers a 3-month free trial period to new users (the duration of the free trial is subject to change for new users). Upon expiration of the free trial, continued access to the App requires a paid subscription. We offer monthly and yearly subscription plans. Subscription fees are billed and managed directly through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account. . Unless canceled, the subscriptions are automatically renewed by the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. If a payment issue arises, a grace period of 7 days will be provided, during which you can continue enjoying subscription benefits. If payment is not resolved within this grace period, your account will enter a 30-day account hold period before subscription access is suspended. Users may re-subscribe after cancellation or expiration in accordance with Apple and Google policies. You can cancel your subscription at any time, but please note that no refunds will be provided for any partially used subscription periods (month in progress for monthly subscriptions, year in progress for yearly subscriptions).
4. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription through the App's account settings. Your cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing period. Following cancellation, your access to the paid features of the App will cease at the end of that period.
5. Content Interaction
5.1 Content Saved via URL:
Content from Third-Party Sources: The SLT App allows users to save URLs to publicly available content hosted on third-party platforms. When a user saves a URL, SLT processes the linked content to extract, categorize, and classify information to enhance the user's ability to retrieve and manage these links. You acknowledge and agree that this processed information, including any classifications, summaries, or metadata generated by SLT's algorithms, is the proprietary property of SLT Innovations S.L. SLT grants you a non-exclusive, revocable license to access and utilize metadata (such as AI-generated tags and summaries) processed by SLT solely within the SLT App for easy retrieval of saved URLs. SLT does not host or store original third-party social media content. Instead, we store internal unique IDs and SLT-generated metadata only. SLT explicitly claims no ownership or responsibility over the original third-party content.
User Responsibility for Saved URLs: You are solely responsible for the URLs you choose to save within the SLT App. You must ensure that your saving and accessing of such content complies with the terms of service and content policies of the originating platforms.
Disclaimer of Responsibility for Third-Party Content: SLT Innovations S.L. does not create, endorse, or control the content accessible via the URLs saved by users. This content originates from third-party platforms that have their own terms of service and content moderation policies. SLT assumes no responsibility for the legality, accuracy, availability, or appropriateness of this third-party content. While we may expect users to save content from reputable sources, we cannot guarantee the nature or continued availability of such content.
5.2 User-Uploaded Content (Future Functionality):
User Ownership of Uploaded Content: Should the SLT App in the future allow users to directly upload content ("User-Uploaded Content"), you will retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in and to your User-Uploaded Content. SLT will not claim any ownership rights over your User-Uploaded Content, except for the limited licenses expressly granted in these Terms.
User Responsibility for Uploaded Content: If you choose to upload content to the SLT App, you are solely responsible for ensuring that your User-Uploaded Content complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms & Conditions, including without limitation, ensuring that you have all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to upload, use, and share the User-Uploaded Content. You represent and warrant that your User-Uploaded Content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights of any third party.
License to User-Uploaded Content: By uploading User-Uploaded Content to the SLT App, you grant SLT Innovations S.L. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable, and transferable license to access, use, store, reproduce, modify (to the extent necessary for technical processing, display, and operation of the App), and distribute your User-Uploaded Content within the SLT App for the purpose of providing the services to you and other users. This license is limited to the operation and functionality of the SLT App.
SLT's Rights and Responsibilities Regarding User-Uploaded Content: SLT Innovations S.L. reserves the right (but shall have no obligation) to review, monitor, and remove or disable access to any User-Uploaded Content at any time for any reason, including without limitation, if we believe it violates these Terms & Conditions or applicable laws or regulations. We will also respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement or other intellectual property violations in accordance with applicable law. While we take reasonable measures to maintain the security and integrity of the SLT App, we are not responsible for the loss, deletion, or corruption of User-Uploaded Content. Our liability with respect to User-Uploaded Content shall be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
· Use the App in any way that violates these Terms or any applicable law or regulation.
· Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
· Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the operation of the App.
· Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or any related systems or networks.
· Use any automated means (such as bots, spiders, or scrapers) to access or collect information from the App without our express written permission.
· Create multiple accounts to repeatedly benefit from the free trial offer.
· Upload, share, or save any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
· Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of SLT or any third party.
7. Intellectual Property
The SLT App and its original content (excluding content accessed via URLs or user-uploaded content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of SLT Innovations S.L. and its licensors. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both Spain and foreign countries. You agree not to reproduce, modify, distribute, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our App except as generally and ordinarily permitted through the App according to these Terms.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. SLT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY CONTENT AVAILABLE THROUGH THE APP, INCLUDING PROCESSED INFORMATION FROM THIRD-PARTY URLS.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SLT INNOVATIONS S.L., ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE APP, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SLT, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of Madrid, Spain, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.
12. App Store and Google Play Store Policies
Users acknowledge that the use of the App is also subject to applicable terms of service, usage rules, and privacy policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. To the extent that these platform-specific terms conflict with these Terms, the platform-specific terms of Apple and Google shall govern with respect to the user’s use of the App through their respective platforms.
13. Amendments to Terms
SLT reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will endeavor to provide you with notice of any material changes. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SLT Innovations S.L. regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written23 and oral. Our operations fully comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ensuring user rights such as access, rectification, deletion, and objection.
